Great app

Works well to stop "those" feelings of doom before they escalate. Just wish I could play all three meditations in sequence without having to interrupt each meditation...unless I missed something.

This app is great for being rid of anxiety and calming the self and learning how to stay in the moment. It is a great app for the price.

Great app

I really like the journaling available in this app. It makes you use your mind to help control the anxiety and stress rather than just deep breathing. If you use it, it really makes you think yourself out of the anxiety.

Novel Approach

Its a hustle bustle world and maybe some people like that. If you dont, try this app to unwind and cope with anxious feelings associated with the busy world. The app provides practical exercises and some guided meditation to help. A well designed app too!

AMAZING!!!

I love this app! When I first saw the app I thought that the price was high and didnt know if it would actual work. Well I downloaded and it has done wonders for me! I used to be anxious all the time and this app is perfect for anyone who just needs to relax. The breathing exercises are just perfect (they really do work) and the music choices are nice. The journaling work right along with the breathing exercises. This is the perfect stress relief app. I only wish there were more music choices! The best!!!!

Smartly done and well worth the price...

Im a big fan of Meditation Oasis work in general and was excited to see this app come out, as it definitely suits a need for me. It is nicely designed and easy to use. My favorite feature is the voice-instructions for each step. This is a huge bonus for people with anxiety. The simpler you can make an app like this, the better. The guided meditations are excellent and Marys voice is angelic. Beyond that, the advice given for coping is well thought out and mirrors concepts found in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as other long-standing, accepted processes of dealing with anxiety. In other words, this isnt just someone telling you to "relax." While it IS very relaxing, there is a science to what the app offers. Improvements could include longer meditations, more meditations and better functionality of the journaling pages. (Even voice-journaling in the future?) There are a couple of other minor tech issues I think they could improve, but none that affect the effectiveness of the app. This is well worth the low price and is a must-have in your arsenal against anxiety and stress.

Breath Aware Meditation is a Life-Saver

I suffer with anxiety and Ive been using the Breath Aware Meditation daily and it has helped me tremendously! The womans voice is so soothing. I havent explored the whole app yet but I will. A big thank you to the developers for creating this app!

Replay guided meditation

I would like to request a repeat button that would continuously repeat the guided meditation without it stopping and having to press replay. I get to a relaxed state and then it ends. Please include this feature. Marys voice is so soothing.

A very helpful app for nervousness and anxiety

There are times when a person needs help right now. Anxiety can be a horrible experience. This app is a real friend. It has everything needed to provide instant help. The breathing and music are wonderful. But, they need to have a longer session of slow breathing for those who also have high blood pressure and need some extra help. Also needed is a journal that gives the date. Keeping a record of the dates helps you to see if perhaps you have a pattern to your anxiety. It also just makes sense. Also, a lock to the journal is needed. Im glad this is now a Universal app. But, there needs to be a way to sync the data from one device to another. The absence of that makes the app somewhat less useful. Finally, the iPad interface is not as nice as the previous version. If I got my "wish list", this would be a 5 star app. Regardless, I do highly recommend it. The bottom line is that is calms you down and gives you back your life.

Constant reminders to about anxiety made me anxious!

Im in agreement with a previous poster in regards to the mention of anxiety by the soothing female voice, and reminders of it over and over jarring me out of a comfortable space. Every time I started to get relaxed, I got told my anxiety was nothing to pay attention to. The very mention of the word altered my focus in a bad way. I can understand the reassurance early on, but 7 minutes into a 9 minute session, I shouldnt be reminded that I might have anxiety! Stressful, though it has lots of good qualities.

do u have an Adult version of the childrens version to doze off to get to sleepland? I want something that will not tell me to soon u will awaken ... rather u will drift off into a deep relaxing sleep with a positive affirmation to dream about too

This was the first App. I got for stress, anxiety, etc., and I loved it from the second I heard Marys voice. I agree about a "Replay" option. Otherwise, I LUV this app.!!!!!¡¡¡¡¡!!!!!

At Ease--the name says it.

This app, as well as Simply Being, by Mary and Richard, is a gem. At Ease is easy to use and multifaceted in its approach to helping with anxiety. There are helpful instructions for the breathing meditations and for journaling. I have never had much luck with meditation techniques because of, well, anxiety. The anxiety of trying to do it correctly. The gentle voice and guidance put me At Ease. The Journaling has also been helpful to me and has led to some insights about my anxiety. And when I emailed for technical help about syncing between my iPad and iPhone, I got a rapid response. Thank you, Mary and Richard, for sharing your work.
